CCAD Packard Library - Alumni Privileges

All CCAD alumni have lifetime library privileges. Alumni are allowed to check out up to 5 books, DVDs, circulating magazines, or other eligible items at a time. Alumni also have borrowing privileges through OhioLINK.

Alumni

For library purposes, alumni are defined as any students who have officially graduated from CCAD. Students who have taken classes at CCAD but have not received a diploma are not considered alumni. Faculty and staff who are no longer employed by CCAD are also not considered alumni. However, official Faculty Emeritus do have lifetime privileges.

No off-campus database access

Due to contractual agreements with vendors, alumni do not have off-campus access to online resources, but they may use them in the library.

BILLED, Lost, or Damaged Items

Alumni are subject to the same fines and fees as current students.

If any item has not been returned 30 days after its due date, it is assumed to be lost and goes into BILLED status. A stop will be put on your account, and you will not be permitted to check out further materials or order transcripts until the item is returned or the lost item is paid for or replaced. CCAD items will incur a $100 replacement fee per item and OhioLINK/SearchOhio items will incur a $125.00 replacement fee per item. These fees will be waived if the item is returned or replaced.

We accept cash, checks, and credit cards at the library. You can also pay with a credit card through SelfService.

In some cases you may purchase a replacement copy, but it must be the same edition or newer of the item.
