Archives & Local History

Welcome to the CCAD Archives and Local History research guide!

The CCAD Archive serves as the official memory of Columbus College of Art & Design. Our mission is to document the history of CCAD and to select, preserve, and make accessible primary source materials that have long term value for research and instruction at CCAD. Items within the collection date back to when the Columbus Art School was founded in the late 1800s.

The collection supports academic departments and programs in art and design. All holdings are accessible to the public, with exceptions for preservation and privacy reasons.
