Archives & Local History

Welcome to the CCAD Archives & Local History research guide!

The CCAD Archive & CCAD Digital Archive serve as the official memory of Columbus College of Art & Design. Our mission is to document the history of CCAD and to select, preserve, and make accessible primary source materials that have long term value for research and instruction at CCAD. Items within the collection date back to when the Columbus Art School was founded in the late 1800s.

The collections support academic departments and programs in art and design. All holdings are accessible to the public by appointment, with exceptions for preservation and privacy reasons.
