Library Instruction

The library offers instruction sessions for any class! These sessions are a great way to familiarize your students with library resources, get them started on searching databases, and help foster critical thinking.

We are eager to help tailor a session to the needs of your class, whether you would like a general approach or a more focused session based on a particular project.

For more information, see the Information Literacy Instruction @ CCAD LibGuide.

We ask that you give us at least a 5-day notice prior to your requested date, and include a specific assignment you are giving your students – sessions are much more effective when we are able to focus the session toward what you need your students to learn for a specific paper, presentation, or project.

Instructors or teaching assistants must accompany classes to our sessions.

Subject Guides

Using LibGuides, subject guides have been created for each of the majors at CCAD. The guides are designed to help students find and use library resources and can be embedded in your GoStudio page.
