This guide was created to help students find and use library resource on fairy tales, mythology, and folklore.
Try browsing these Dewey Decimal Call Numbers:
Books on mythology and folklore are in two different sections of the library because myth is a sacred (religious) narrative, whereas folklore is secular (not religious). There is some overlap, so if you're not sure, check both.
Also check out the Illustration for Children tab in the Illustration Subject Guide.
For information on folk material culture, art, & design, see: Self-Taught, Outsider, Folk, & Visionary Art
It is a work in progress, so feedback, questions, or suggestions are encouraged. Please contact Chris Mannix at cmannix@ccad.edu.
